Maupeltuewey Kina'matno'kuom was lucky enough to host TD Book Week's touring illustrator, Kassandra Reich! She had a great morning with the grade two and three students! Wela'lin Kassandra!
Just a reminder, every grade two student was given a take home journal as extra practice to enhance their writing skills. Please encourage your child to write an entry a minimum of three times a week. They are to return these to the teacher at the beginning of each week and they will be sent back home with them after review. Thank you.
The grade two students are to bring in an item for Show and Tell on Thursday, April 5th. Thank you.
The students had a journey through time! They had a hands on learning experience with real dinsosaur fossils, bones, asteriods, and more!
This art lesson was linked to the Math outcomes in regards to repeating and increasing patterns. We used the designs of the dresses/vests to represent various repeating patterns. The jingles/tassels were used to represent an increasing pattern. Such great work!
